Evan Hasbrook

Of Counsel

Evan is an attorney at Mansell Law and an experienced litigator. Prior to joining the firm, Evan served as trial counsel on employment and housing cases at one of the nation’s largest public-interest law firms, the Legal Aid Society in New York City. In addition to his trial work in federal and state courts, Evan has successfully represented clients in appeals and negotiations for over ten years.

Evan represents clients throughout New York in a wide variety of employment disputes: challenging discrimination, recovering unpaid wages, negotiating severances, reviewing contracts, and more. He handles mediations, arbitrations, trials, and cases at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and New York City Commission on Human Rights.

Evan frequently teaches and speaks on panels on the subjects of workers’ rights, closing arguments, and motion practice. He is an active member of the Ohio and New York chapters of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA).

Evan grew up in Toledo, Ohio. He received his B.A., with honors, from New York University and his J.D., with honors, from Brooklyn Law School.
